Implementation of an Academic Profile Website for Yayasan Puji Anugrah, Bangka Belitung Islands

Currently, Yayasan Puji Anugrah faces several challenges in communication and information dissemination, including limited outreach to a broader audience, difficulties in delivering timely and up-to-date information, and the underutilization of digital platforms for program promotion and fundraising activities. These challenges have resulted in limited visibility of the foundation’s activities and reduced engagement with key stakeholders. This study aims to design and develop a profile website for Yayasan Puji Anugrah as an effective medium for information dissemination, communication, and promotion by considering the needs, characteristics, and expectations of various stakeholders. The system development process employs the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model, which consists of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and evaluation stages. The results indicate that the application of the SDLC Waterfall method successfully produced a functional and informative profile website that meets stakeholder requirements. The developed website enhances information accessibility, supports transparency of foundation activities, and creates opportunities for broader utilization of digital platforms for promotion and fundraising initiatives.
Design and Development of an Integrated Speedometer with User Interface and User Experience for Two-Wheeled Electric Vehicles to Support the Acceleration of Electric Vehicle Adoption in Indonesia

In recent years, electric motorcycles have gained increasing attention worldwide, including in Indonesia, in line with the government’s commitment to accelerating the adoption of environmentally friendly transportation. Referring to Presidential Regulation No. 55 of 2019 on the Acceleration of the Battery-Based Electric Vehicle Program, the Indonesian government has set a target to produce 13 million two-wheeled electric vehicles by 2030. The urgency of adopting electric motorcycles in Indonesia continues to grow due to several strategic considerations, including the promotion of sustainable mobility, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, energy diversification, and job creation. Furthermore, Presidential Regulation No. 55 of 2019 mandates the implementation of the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) for Battery-Based Electric Vehicles, including electric motorcycles, to enhance the added value of the national industry. A higher TKDN in electric motorcycles is critically important for several reasons:(i) reducing dependence on imported components;(ii) fostering the development of local industries;(iii) enhancing domestic technological capability and innovation;(iv) supporting sustainable development goals; and(v) strengthening national energy independence. Currently, efforts to increase TKDN are primarily focused on major components such as batteries, electric motors, and electronic control systems. However, speedometer components for electric motorcycles have not yet received sufficient attention, resulting in limited availability of locally produced speedometers with a TKDN value exceeding 40%. This condition poses a challenge to achieving higher overall TKDN levels in electric motorcycles in Indonesia. This research represents a strategic initiative to enhance the TKDN value of speedometer components for two-wheeled electric vehicles. The proposed solution is the development of an integrated speedometer with user interface and user experience (UI/UX) specifically designed for electric motorcycles. Through this approach, the issue of limited availability of high-TKDN locally produced speedometers is expected to be addressed. The development of this speedometer is initiated by a research team from Kalbis University in collaboration with PT Spora Cahaya Indonesia (Spora EV). This project aims to contribute directly to the Acceleration of the Battery-Based Electric Vehicle Program in Indonesia, in accordance with the mandate of Presidential Regulation No. 55 of 2019 concerning the TKDN of electric motorcycles. The outcomes of this collaboration are expected to benefit the electric motorcycle development ecosystem, particularly electric motorcycle conversion workshops in Indonesia. The availability of speedometer components with high TKDN values is anticipated to enhance the overall TKDN of converted electric motorcycles. Based on these challenges, this study is designed to provide solutions through:(i) the development of speedometer components with a minimum TKDN value of 40%;(ii) the design of speedometer user interfaces and user experiences tailored to user needs; and(iii) product feasibility testing to assess the acceptance of the developed speedometer among electric motorcycle conversion workshops in Indonesia.
